Why is the engraving included?
We built the machines that pour, cure and engrave every candle. Engraving one lid costs us the same as engraving a pallet of them, so we charge one price and the personalization comes with it.

Pick a scent you love and a lid to match: one of our designs, your own picture, or an idea you describe and we create. Engraving is always included.
Upload one family photograph, add a name for each lid, and everyone on your list is done.
A lid made by you.
Your artwork in the maple: a photograph, a drawing, a logo, a design we draw from your words, or one from our collection. We were the first to engrave a photograph into a candle lid, and others copy it now; ours is still made by hand and included in the price.
The lid is solid Wisconsin hard maple, cut and finished in our workshop. We engrave your artwork deep into the wood, so a photograph keeps its light and its shadow. The top carries your artwork; the underside carries a second design, a name, a date, whatever you like. The lid seals to the glass with a silicone gasket. The candle is a soy and paraffin blend with a lead-free cotton wick, in square glass, and burns for up to 60 hours.

No other candle company does this. Answer a few questions about the smells you like and the ones you don't, and your answers draw a profile of your taste. We match it to the fragrance in our collection you will like most, or to one of some thirty fragrances we keep ready for exactly this. Then you name it, and the name is printed on the label.
